Entry to Social Events
Entry to social events, with the exception of the Welcome Reception, will be via a checklist, tickets are not provided for delegates or accompanying persons. Delegates and guests are asked to wear their badges for identification.

Mobile Phones
As a courtesy to other delegates, and to avoid embarrasement, please ensure that your mobile phones is turned off or in a silent mode during all sessions and social functions. Delegates will be asked to leave a conference room should their phone ring.

Special Diets
The conference venue will be advised of any special dietary needs which are indicated on your registration form. For conference day catering, there will be a specific area where special dietary food is placed, please check with catering or conference staff. We are unable to guarantee the provision of any special dietary needs less than 7 days prior to the start of the conference.

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that delegates and exhibitors take out their own general and travel insurance to cover any and all eventualities. The Insurance should also cover loss arising from the cancellation of the conference by the organisers or a person's inability to attend due to any reason whatsoever. No responsibility will be taken by the Australian College of Midwives or the conference managers for any conference participant failing to arrange their own insurance.


Pricing Policy
Registrations will not be processed or confirmed until payment in full is received. Please note all online registration transactions by credit card (MasterCard, Visa) will appear on your statement as payment to Conference Online. Cheques for postal registrations should be made payable to Remark Pty Ltd. Registration payments by direct transfer can be made with prior arrangements, however it is important to note that the registration will not be confirmed until payment is received in full. Payments from overseas must be made by credit card or bank cheque in Australian Dollars only, drawn on an Australian Bank. Your name and full address should be typed or printed clearly on the back of the cheque. MasterCard & Visa are the only cards accepted at the conference.

Conference Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations will not be finalised until you have received our written confirmation of receipt. Should you not have received the acknowledgement of your cancellation within five business days, you are advised to contact the Conference Managers - Remark Pty Ltd on 02 9559 5229.

All cancellations must be notified in writing (mail, email or fax) to the ACM2011: A Midwifery Odyssey Conference Manager

Before 3rd September 2011 will receive a full refund of fees payable
After 3rd September 2011 will receive a 50% refund of fees payable
After 4th October 2011 there will be no refund

Registration may be transferred to another delegate from the same organisation but the ACM2011 conference manager must be notified in writing - either by postal letter or email.The registration will not deemed to be transferred until you have received written confirmation of the request. If you have not received written confirmation within 3 working days please contact the Conference Manager.

Accomodation Refunds are at the discression of the Accomodation provider.

Your registration and payment will be acknowledged via email with confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form. Your registration will not be processed or confirmed if payment does not accompany your registration.
