Terms & Conditions

Early Bird Registration
The Early Bird rate will apply from the 5th May 2011 until 31st July 2011. To be eligible for the Early Bird rate payment must be received by the 31st July 2011. After this date all outstanding registration will be transferred to the Standard rate and any outstanding balance must be paid prior to confirmation of the registration. Delegates with outstanding fees at the time of registration conference will be required to provide a credit card guarantee. If payment is not received 14 days after the event, the credit card will be charged.

Payments
Payment is required to confirm registration. Delegates with outstanding registration fees at the conference will be required to provide a credit card guarantee. If payment is not received 14 days after the event, the credit card will be charged. All delegates who register online will be sent a tax invoice within 2 working days.

Refunds and Cancellations
Registration cancellations and amendments must be sent in writing either by mail, fax or email to the Conference Secretariat. A $88 cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations received in writing prior to 5pm on 1st October 2011. After this date there will be no refunds made; however substitute delegates will be accepted. All amendments and delegate substitutions will incur an additional $20.00 administrative charge. Refunds will be processed after the conference close.

Insurance
It is the responsibility of delegates to arrange their own travel insurance. The conference does not endorse or have any arrangements with any companies.

Disclaimer
The conference organisers reserve the right to change activities, topics and presenters where necessary. "The organisers shall not be liable for any loss caused by the cancellation of the conference where such cancellation is due to Force Majeure. The term "Force Majeure" means any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the organisers including but not limited to War, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), terrorism, aircraft hijacking, military operation, riot, civil war, rebellion, civil commotion or unrest, Acts or Regulations of government, refusal to grant visas, explosions, transport delays, transport difficulties and the insolvency of airline carriers. The organisers will use all reasonable efforts to conduct the conference despite the intervention or occurrence of any such cause."

* Member rate
Current members of the Australian College of Midwives at the time of registration are eligible. You will be asked for your membership number at the time you register, please have them ready when registering.

** Student is designated as a person undertaking a pre-registration midwifery degree. Post graduate students are not eligible for the student rate. Please contact the conference secretariat should you have any questions.

++ All authors who have their papers/workshops/posters/creative art accepted for presentation will be eligible to register for the conference at the ACM member rate.

NB: Please note that all participants including delegates and presenters must register for the conference.

Extra tickets can be purchased from the registration page for $60.
The Welcome Reception is not included in the conference registration fees for Students, Day member, Day non member and Consumers - tickets must be purchased to attend these events

Included in student registration. This is a ticketed event and attendees must be registered for the conference.

The conference dinner is open to all conference attendees and partners.
